Access Payroll will handle any combination of pay types and pay frequencies, presenting information in a graphical, easy to use format. However complex your pay structures, payslips will be calculated and printed within minutes.


Every Conceivable Payroll Need

SSP, SMP, SAP, SPP and all other statutory requirements are included, while everything from Directors' Pay to Working Tax Credits is dealt with automatically. Pensions can be entered as a fixed sum or percentage of salary, and Additional Voluntary Contributions made at any time. COMP and COSR pensions can also be specified. PAYE, NIC and SSP tables are formatted in line with Inland Revenue conventions and the system provides a monthly report of payments due for PAYE and National Insurance.


Employee Records

Access Payroll comes complete with a simple 'tab card' personnel system, covering employment history, qualifications, photograph, holiday tracking and individual pay components.


P11D Processing

The system will handle all the calculations and reports connected with taxable benefits. Your P11D submissions can be made using traditional printed reports or magnetic media.


Electronic Submissions

Access Payroll meets all the criteria laid down by the Inland Revenue for cash incentives on electronic submission of Year End returns. A full range of electronic forms is supported, including P11D (b), P14, P35, P45 (pts 1 & 3) and P46.


Absence Tracking

Payroll also enables you to track and review all types and periods of staff absence. You can report on any combination of employee and absence type, including 'sickness', 'holiday' and 'unauthorised'. When considering applications for holiday, scheduling training or authorising other types of absence, use the in-built planner to help maximise your resources.


Reporting & Analysis

Monthly reports, statutory declarations and Year End requirements are available at the touch of a button. Exception reports are also provided, to help you validate your payroll before it is finalised. The system retains full details of all payments made, enabling the preparation of comprehensive management reports. You decide how the reports are formatted and what they contain, using a range of simple search, sort and sub-total commands.


Legislative Updates

Access makes sure you keep pace with changes in legislation by releasing updated versions of Payroll. Each new release is tested against standards laid down by the Inland Revenue and IMIS, the two most respected payroll accreditation bodies in the UK. Access Accounts - Access Payroll links seamlessly with every product in the Access Accounts range. Integrating your payroll with your accounts introduces many additional benefits, including automatic salary expenditure updates to your Nominal Ledger and Project Costing records.

Microsoft Office - A secure, 2-way link with Microsoft Office enables you to work on your payroll data using the additional functionality offered by MS Word, Excel and Project. An optional write-back facility is used to pass changes (to non-statutory data) back into your Payroll system. This greatly reduces the time taken for a huge range of common administrative tasks.

Timesheet Applications - Timesheets from any application (including Access Project Costing) can be entered straight into Access Payroll, with no re-keying. This enables effortless pay calculation and consolidation by pay type.
